Innovation in the Asia Pacific - From Manufactu...

This book promotes the creation of advanced knowledge-based economies driven by innovation networks and the continuous development of human capital and capability. It provides valuable insights into the growing emergence of knowledge-based industries of the Asia Pacific, and highlights research on: modes of creativity and innovation; intellectual property; the components of national innovation systems such as firms, education and training; knowledge and technical infrastructure; and public policy. The Asia Pacific region is currently in the process of transforming from being the manufacturing centre of the global economy to a centre of innovation for the knowledge economy, with the successful IPO of Alibaba in 2014 being a prime example of this shift. From a neo-Schumpeterian perspective, the region is increasingly engaged in shortening and intensifying cycles of innovation. The historic agreement at the Beijing APEC meeting between China and the US to radically reduce carbon emissions indicates that one imperative of this innovation is to contribute to sustainability. The fact that the US Government is moving away from this historic commitment, while the Chinese Government is endorsing the commitment, indicates an emerging opportunity for Asia to lead the world technologically in a vital industrial sector of the future. Thomas Clarke is Professor of Management and Director of the Key University Research Centre for Corporate Governance at the University of Technology Sydney. Formerly he was Chair of the Academic Board at UTS, and a member of the University Council. In the United Kingdom he was DBM Professor of Corporate Governance at Leeds Business School, and Professor of Management at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai. He has held Visiting Professorships at the University of Paris, Dauphine; ESC Lille, France; University of Geneva, Switzerland; FGV Business School, Sao Paulo, Brazil; UAM Business School, Mexico City; and a Nuffield Foundation Visiting Research Fellowship at the University of Warwick.

There are many people who never consider what they wish in their lives. They live without this knowledge or premeditation and become a sorry state of their own financial condition. To most salaried individual, work is simply about a job - to make do financially. Life becomes a series of chores where every day one wakes up early. The first thing in sight in their mind is watching how the Money flying away even before they get out of bed. It is very real in todays world as the loan or rental interest charges will just make its roll call even while you are sleeping. All of us want to be happy and have enough money. It is true that Money isnt Everything but the reality is that many ideas in this world require money to materialize. Many people think that life is very unfair. Here you are working hard and yet your income is not even enough to buy you an ice cream. On the other side of the coin, you know someone who does not even shed a drop of sweat and yet lies in luxury. If you think that life has been so rude on you and you were only born to suffer your destiny, then you are thinking as a poor man would think. But if you think that you are the master of your destiny and you are in total control of your life, then you have a rich man?s mentality. In our present society, the gap between the rich and the poor is growing wider everyday. The rich becomes richer while the poor becomes poorer. To help us understand the satirical situation, we need to go into the mentality of the rich and blessed people and compare it with the way of thinking of the poor and underprivileged people. Here we will disclose ten distinct differences in the money mentality of the rich versus the poor people. While reading the differences, try to assess your own mindset and see where yours mostly belong. But remember that by defining rich and poor .I am not referring to an individuals current bank account size, net worth, assets, and so on. But rather, I am referring to the state of mind. A human mind is so powerful it can create assets, or even liabilities. If you have a mind conditioned to be poor, no matter what wealth you have today you can lose it all sooner or later. On the other hand, if you have the mind of a rich persons, you can create your wealth from scratch or get it all back faster than it took you the first time, even if you lose it all today.

They are special in the way that they are all specifically designed and adapted to various different sorts of drinks. This kind of industry is showing a high potential of growth nowadays as more people than ever before enjoy all kinds of drinks and as the demand of drinking a good quality of wine or also other alcoholic and also non- alcoholic drinks increases it is from big importance to use suitable glasses with different wines and drinks. Our goal is to establish our products on the European market and to generate a market share of around 5%. The companys long term goals are to expand and to establish the brand image. Furthermore the goal is to achieve a sustainable profit margin of 20%. The main group to target are middle aged working people who are looking for an increased experience when drinking wine. But also younger people focus more and more on the glasses they are using to drink wine and other alcoholic drinks and therefore represent a growing hope group. From 2017 to 2018 we prospect an increase in sales of about 20% and from 2018 to 2019 of about 16%.This proves to our investors that we have steady growth rates and that our business will expand further. To Generate break even we should sell about 7413 glasses in the first year. Our projection of 2017 however show sales of about 20700 glasses and is therefore 179% above the breakeven point. In the second year we are even 190% above the breakeven point.
